AUAP Youth Development Programme, Phuket, Thailand

AUAP (Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific) and MIDAS (Master’s Institute Development Academic and Seminary) will collaboratively organize the 2nd AUAP Youth Development Programme (YDP) that will be held in Phuket, Thailand, on 6 th to 11 th August, 2023. The students who are interested to see their personal growth in an inclusive environment are highly encouraged to participate and they are also the target group of this annual programme. How student development can impact global issues will be observed here.

Participation of students demands what they learn from the schedule. From YDP, students will learn the principles of how to promote healthy development such as- youth mentoring, positive mindset, strength building, self-confidence/ development etc. To prepare students to face the real world working, topics such as cultural diversity, intercultural communication and key problems in the global communities will be covered. Students get opportunities to do outdoor activities, to engage with student development projects and get the opportunity to experience the uniqueness of Thai culture.
